Settle down and relax before departing on one of our motorcycle
tours. Or chill out after returning from your tour. Enjoy a few
days in South Africa's vibrant "Mother City" with your rental motorcycle
waiting at the doorstep to take you to one of the Cape Peninsula's
beautiful beaches or to the famous Cape of Good Hope itself. We
recommend to spend at least 3 days in Cape Town. This allows the
following tours and activities:
Tour the Cape Peninsula, visiting the old naval
town of Simon's Town with its colony of African Penguins. Head on
into Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve with its breathtaking cliffs.
Spot the mighty Eland above Diaz' Beach or picnic amidst the Bontebok
at Olifants Bay. Return to Cape Town along the scenic Atlantic Coast
with the cliffs of Chapman's Peak and the Twelve Apostles towering
above you. Enjoy the sunset on Signal Hill or in one of Camps Bays
Beachfront Cafes.
Take Kloof Nek Road and Tafelberg Road up the slopes
of Table Mountain. Park the motorcycle at the lower station of the
Cable Car and ride the Rotair to the top to catch the bird's eyes
view of Cape Town, Table Bay and the Atlantic Coast. Ride down to
Camps Bay, South Africa's Venice Beach, and along the coast to Cape
Towns Victoria & Alfred Waterfront. Embark to Robben Island
and visit the former high security prison, where, besides many others,
Nelson Mandela was imprisoned for several years. After returning
to the mainland, gu for a Champagne Cruise on a traditional gaff
rigged schooner and spend the evening in the Waterfront's restaurants,
bars and music venues.
Leave Cape Town climbing over Kloof Nek and take
Victoria Drive to the harbour of Hout Bay. Launch for a boat trip
to a nearby colony of Cape Fur Seals. Get some smoked Snoek at the
Laughing Lobster, Fish and Chips at Fish on the Rocks or the Peninsula's
best Calamari at the Chapman's Peak Hotel. Cross over Constantia
Nek and visit Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens for a relaxing hike
through its plantations of some 9000 indigenous plant species or
the 500 hectares of bush vegetation surrounding the gardens. Round
the eastern slopes of Table Mountain heading to the Waterfront to
visit the world class Two Oceans Aquarium. Take the road to the
northern suburbs and join the spectators at Blue Peter in Bloubergstrand
for the most picturesque sunset view of Table Mountain.
Or just relax on one of the Cape Peninsula's white sandy beaches.
BeachfrontBed&Bike:
It took us quite a while to find this place: A villa in a quiet
side street above Bakoven Bay. The promenade with restaurants and
bars and the white sandy beach of Camps Bay is only a short walk
away. The spacious rooms boast stunning views of Table Mountain and
the Atlantic Ocean. The Garden with Swimming Pool, the sundeck and
the lounge with fireplace offer lots of space to relax after a
motorcycle tour and to enjoy Camps Bay's laid back holiday resort
atmosphere.
Besides this Guest House we also arrange
accommodation in a number of other places of all categories in Cape
Town and on the Cape Peninsula. Please feel free to contact us with
your accomodation request.
