Conditions of hire:

The minimum age of authorized riders of a Le Cap motorcycle is 23 years.

The rider must be in possession of a valid unendorsed motorcycle license for a minimum of 2 years. A valid I.D. document or passport must be produced.

The minimum period of hire is 24 hours.

One way hire is possible by prior arrangement only. Collection and transport is subject to additional charges and is not included in the hiring rates.

Distances are calculated from depot back to depot.

Petrol is not included in the rates. Motorcycles are hired out with a full tank and must return with a full tank. Charges for motorcycles returned unrefueled are  ZAR 150 per motorcycle.

Speedometers are sealed, and if they are found to have been tampered with, a minimum of 500 km per day will be charged in addition to kilometres ridden.

All prices are quoted in South African Rand, and are subject to change without prior notice.

Terms of payment: Cash or credit card on demand, we honor VISA and MASTERCARD / EUROCARD as well as American Express.

Under no circumstances may a Le Cap motorcycle leave the borders of the Republic of South Africa without our permission. If you plan to visit a neighboring country with a Le Cap motorcycle, please contact our office well in advance.

Deposits must be made to cover the insurance excess on the motorcycle. See rentals for details.

Le Cap Motorcycle Hire is not liable for third party liability claims against the rider or renter.

On booking the customer agrees to Le Cap's terms and conditions as well as cancellation fees.
